I am currently on SS with my passed husbands benefits and I am thinking about getting marriage again. When my previous husband passed he was on SS. I want to who if I will lose his benefit if I remarry.

If your widow or widower remarries after they reach age 60 (age 50 if disabled), the remarriage will not affect their eligibility for survivors benefits.

If you below that age limit - you would not be eligible for benefits based on your late spouse working record.

That is what I wanted to know. I am the widow and was 66 when he passed and I am now going to be 70 in March, so I will not lose his benefits if I have read this correctly.

Yes - that is correct - because you are above age 60 - your benefits will NOT be affected.
