My social security number...

My social security number is ****. I have changed my Medicare RX insurance to Medicare Complete Choice 1, provided by UHC effective Jan.1, 2018. Decided to make payment by EFT and have $60 deducted from a checking account. I therefore want to CANCEL the $60 to be deducted from my Social Security monthly check. Can this be done now or what is the procedure to follow

In most cases, you won’t have premiums withheld in 2018, when you change if you did not indicate this with the new company and used EFT instead.

...

You should begin paying your new plan directly when you get a bill or payment book. In some instances, your premium withhold might continue through January or February 2018, especially if you decided to stop premium withhold toward the end of Open Enrollment. If that happens, Social Security will refund any premiums that are withheld.
