Because you were re-married before you were 60, you are not eligible for a survivor dependent benefit on your deceased wife's record.

However! Because you have not yet filed for your own benefit, and you turned 62 before the end of 2015, you CAN file for a restricted spousal benefit on your current wife once she files herself for her own. You can then receive 50% of her primary insurance amount, and NOT file for your own benefit, so your own benefit can gain those "delayed retirement credits" til age 70 - increasing its size by 32%. You can then switch to your own once you turn 70 (or any time prior, but for less of an increase).

This is a valuable benefit, this restricted spousal application - so valuable that Congress and the Obama administration changed the law to disallow such a restricted spousal application for all those not grandfathered. You, however, should be grandfathered. It means you can take that spousal WHILE waiting til 70.
