Your SSDI benefits are your social security benefits you are entitled to at full retirement age. At 62 you would be applying for reduced benefits (about 30% of your current benefits). Unless you are loosing your social security disability benefits there's no good reason to give up your disability benefits for early social security benefits. Once you reach your full retirement age you will be automatically switched to your regular benefits.
