She will be receiving rimicade infusions monthly for at least 2 years, along with several other meds from what drs told me. Does she qualify for some kind of assistance.

Good morning,

I'm Doug, and I'm very sorry to hear of your daughter's situation. My goal is to provide you with excellent service today.

The only disability benefit that your daughter could be eligible for would be Supplemental Security Income (SSI) which is a welfare benefit and she would only qualify for that benefit if your family is living at or near poverty level.

In case your family is low income, here is a link to the site where you can learn more about applying for SSI benefits for your daughter: https://www.ssa.gov/disabilityssi/apply-child.html

If she is granted SSI, she will also qualify for Medicaid health insurance, in addition to be given a monthly sum of money.

You may reply back to me using the Reply link and I will be happy to continue to assist you until I am able to address your concerns, to your satisfaction.

I hope that I have been able to fully answer your question. As I am not an employee of JustAnswer, please be so kind as to rate my service to you. That is the only way I am compensated for assisting you. Thank you in advance.

I wish you and yours the best in 2016,

Doug
