Customer Question

My nephew draws Social Security from my late brother as his sole beneficiary. My nephew turned 18 in January, 2016, and graduates from high school May, 1016. How long will he be able to draw social security benefits?

His regular Social Security benefits will stop when he graduates from high school, unless he is disabled in which case they would continue for as long as he was in that status. Going to college will not extend his benefits.
