We are planing to move to Costa Rica and our only income is Social Security, with the SSA mail me a check each month or direct deposit it in a Costa Rica Bank. Or will I need to have it direct deposited int a US bank and then transferred to a CR Bank?

Costa Rica doesn't have international direct deposit agreement with teh SSASee here
