My name is***** and I will be helping you with your question today. This is for informational purposes only and does not establish an attorney client relationship. If you were married to him for more than 10 years and you are currently unmarried (or at least unmarried before age 60) then you would be eligible fr his benefit. Also understand that these benefits do not stack, you cannot take all of these benefits together. If eligible you would receive the highest of the 3 benefits between 1) your own retirement benefit 2) ex spouse #1 spousal benefit (up to 50%) and 3) ex spouse #2 spousal benefit (up to 50% and if eligible). If ex #2's spousal benefit is higher than the other two benefits and you are eligible then yes this could increase your overall benefit. Please let me know if you have any further questions and please positively rate my answer if satisfied. There should be smiley faces or numbers from 1-5 to choose from. This extra step will cost you nothing extra and will ensure that I will be compensated for my time by the site.
