Customer Question

A work accident has left me unable to return to work. Can I get Social Security disability and take my work pension?

Thank you for your question. I'm so sorry to hear about your issue! Yes, you CAN get your social security disability benefits and work pension. Work pension will not count against you for earnings purposes because it's based on past but not current service.

Please let me know if you need anything additional. If not, please rate positive.
