I am receiving my husband's pension. He died over a year ago

Customer Question

I am receiving my husband's pension. He died over a year ago at age 76. I am 66. If I married and his age is 58, will I still receive my deceased husband's pension?

Thank you for your question. If you are referring to social security -- the answer is yes. You will still get your husband's social security benefit. You are over 60 -- your new spouse's age does not matter.
