Yes, but it should only be in small increments for the cost of living increase. Normally when you lock in your amount and take your retirement, it stays in place. Your benefit can increase by not taking it until age 70 as you have a deduction for taking it before full retirement age (age 66) and a credit for waiting to take it after full retirement age.
