mY WIFE AGE 84 DIED 11/19/15. I am 87 and receive social security benefits. Should I qualify for survivors benefits from my wife's Soc Sec?

I am very sorry for your loss.

If you were married for at least 9 months, you would likely be eligible, yes, for a survivor benefit. However, no that even though eligible, you may not wish to switch over to survivor, because you can only take 1 individual benefit amount at a time - so you'd only want the survivor benefit which is 100% of your wife's benefit, if it is greater than your own benefit.
