How do I go about evaluating the best way to sign up

How do I go about evaluating the best way for me to sign up for Social Security?

Your fastest and most efficient option is to sign up on line as ssa.gov. Note, you can apply as early as 90 days before you reach age 66 or any time after your 62nd birthday if you wish to take a reduced benefit. Also, you will get an email confirmation once your application is completed. You can also apply in person where you will no doubt wait in line or start your application by calling the SSA. But by applying by phone still requires that you eventually go into an SSA office. I wish you well.
