A 20-hour/wk part-time nanny position has just been offered

Customer Question

A 20-hour/wk part-time nanny position has just been offered to me at $10 to 15 per hour.
I am 69 years & have been receiving SS for several years.

Thank you for using Just Answer.

After your normal retirement age (probably 66), earnings cannot decrease your social security income. Your social security income could increase if this income would make it one of your top 35 earning years (adjusted for inflation). I don't know your earning history, so I cannot give more details.
