Customer Question

Upon my death, will my spouse be able to draw my social security benefits? Will her children be able to secure the funds from her Ohio teacher's retirement? I have no interest in her retirement funds. I only want her to draw my social security upon my
death. Is this possible?

Thanks for your follow up question --- you can contact the Ohio teacher pension office and make sure her beneficiary is noted.

She can draw social security when you pass, but it will still be reduced by 2/3 of her teacher pension.

Please let me know if you need anything additional. If not, please rate positive.
