I am a retired teacher who claimed spousal benefits in late August or early September of 2015. I haven't heard back from Social Security on the matter.
I had an interview with a SSA person at the Tyler office in March of 2015.
I am also having an issue logging into SSA. i don't know my username or password.

Hello, Marie. I'm sorry to hear about your troubles. If you just applied in late August, early September -- you would likely not have heard back yet. It can take up to 60 days to process your application -- and if it takes that long you will simply get a lump sum for benefits effective the day you specified for the payments to start.
