Receiving social security benefits past 12 years
First wife deceased 5 years
If I remarry, how long do I have to be married for my new spouse to collect my
social security benefits, if I become deceased

Thank you for your question --- you and your spouse must be married for at least 9 months in order for them to get your benefit if you are to pass. If you are married less than that, they won't get a benefit from you
