I am receiving social security now, and looking new

Customer Question

I am receiving social security now, and looking for a new apartment in New Jersey or New York. MY credit history is very bad. Is there a way to set up a payment directly from my social security to a landlord, so my poor credit profile isn't a concern for
the landlord?

Social security will only pay to one account. A direct payment to your landlord is not possible. You could set up a direct deposit from your bank to his once you get paid, but you need to receive the funds first.
