I was let go from my job this past April, 2018. One of the sectors in my Company was sold. I turned 65 years on March 16th so I filled for my SS benefits. I received the first SS payment in April. My company offered me a part time position in April that was for 6 weeks. This turned into a full time position. In order for me to suspend my SS benifits it requires for my to pay back the entire amount which was $8,400. The problem is that I had to use the payment to pay my bills. I have only half the amount that I can return to the SS. What can I do? when I'm 66 in March 2019, I can collect the full amount and continue to work full time.
