I am currently receiving Social Security Disability income

This answer was rated:

I am currently receiving Social Security Disability income ($2,300/mo.) and Medicare Part A&B. If I start receiving a pension next year (about $72,000 before tax income), will I still be eligible for these benefits until age 65 (when it converts to Social Security Income)? Or will any of the benefits be reduced or eliminated?
I realize you have a question about social security. My goal is to provide you with excellent service, and help you better understand your options. Thanks for your question and thanks for using justanswer. Your pension will not impact your benefit. You can draw both at the same time with no reduction. I also receive $5,000 per month disability income from a private/personal insurance policy? Will this amount coupled with my monthly pension negatively impact my Medicare and/or Social Security Disability benefits? Will your answer change when my SS disability converts to Social Security at age 65 (or is it 66)?

No this will not impact your benefits. You are fine to draw everything. My answer remains the same for when you reach full retirement age. Thanks.
