if drugs were involved in your disability and they denied you

This answer was rated:

if drugs were involved in your disability and they denied you do they keep denying you if you keep reapplying and if they do for how long?

Hello and and thank you for your question. For over 34 years, I have answered questions just like yours. And I look forward to assisting you.

You will be found not disabled if the SSA believe that drugs have caused mental issues that you are claiming. But if your disability is based on a physical condition, such as liver failure, even if it is related to drugs you will be approved. Likewise, if you are clean and sober for at least three years, and have medical documentation that shows that you have not used drugs (drug testing) you should reapply. I wish you well.
