If you've received an iPhone 5s from a seller and it has a passcode that you don't know, you'll need to reset the device to remove the passcode and set it up as new. Here's how you can do that using iTunes on a computer:
Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed on your computer.
Turn off the iPhone 5s.
Connect your iPhone to your computer using the original USB cable.
While the iPhone is connected to the computer, press and hold the Home button on the iPhone 5s (the round button below the screen).
Continue holding the Home button until the "Connect to iTunes" screen appears on the iPhone.
iTunes should detect the iPhone in recovery mode. A message will appear on your computer saying that iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode, and you need to restore the device before it can be used with iTunes.
Click "Restore iPhone" in the iTunes window. This will erase all data on your iPhone and install the latest iOS version for the device.
Once the restore process is complete, you can set up your iPhone 5s as a new device without a passcode.
Please note that this process will erase all data on your iPhone 5s. If the device was previously linked to an Apple ID, you might encounter an Activation Lock during the setup process. You will need the previous owner's Apple ID and password ***** unlock the device. If you don't have this information, you should contact the seller and ask them to remove the Activation Lock remotely. They can do this by signing in to their iCloud account (icloud.com/find), selecting the iPhone 5s from the list of devices, and clicking "Remove from Account."
