My partner's phone just suddenly needs a password ***** activate the device. It says:\ "...its owner has used Find My iPhone to link it to their Apple ID." That would be me, I sent both our phones last year. I used the Apple ID used to setup her phone and it's not working. I went to Find My iPhone and turned it off...that didn't help. I know there's only so many times you can put in the wrong password ***** I'm really afraid to go much further. Then my phone asked me to set up a new icloud password, so I did, I've tried both and neither are working on her phone. HELP
JA: When did you last change your password ***** Apple ID?
Customer: about a half hour ago while trying to turn off Find My phone
JA: Did you try resetting through Apple's online account reset tool?
Customer: No, just my iPhone...didn't know about another place to reset
JA: Anything else you want the Mac Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: hua, I don't know enough to know anything else???
