Technician's Assistant: When did you last change your password ***** Apple ID?

I have a new upgraded iPhone ate and I went to set it up and totally forgot my password

Technician's Assistant: Did you try resetting through Apple's online account reset tool?

I have tried several different options if you can walk me through it. I can do it on my iPad

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Mac Expert to know before I connect you?

I tried going to iTunes and putting in my credit card thinking that might help me find my password ***** unfortunately it did not

I tried to reset the apple account, But I am able to see Your account will be ready for recovery in 12 days. At that time, we will send instructions to the phone number you provided. Either you may have to check with apple support or I may have to opt-out and allow another expert to take over.
