My phone is locked for 8 hrs can this be undone

Technician's Assistant: When did you last change your password ***** Apple ID?

I couldn't remember my password ***** I found it

Technician's Assistant: Did you try resetting through Apple's online account reset tool?

No I did not I can't use my phone and the reset email went to my daughters email I am not real good on the technology stuff. My apple pad is also not working I can't email on that either

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Mac Expert to know before I connect you?

No I don't think so
