downloaded music plays, the streaming music such as Pandora doesnt play. It used to play.

Go to setting >about> you should see songs if it has zero just download 1 song from iTunes and that will do it. Spotify,pandora,etc will now work through USB. If you don't have at least 1 song it doesn't recognize it and you will not be able to play through USB.

still not working, my downloaded/purchased music plays but not the streaming music. The problem still remains.

Can you please provide me with the version of Ios you have on your device?

To find the iOS version installed on your device, go to Settings > General > About.

I called apple and they advised me to go into iPhone settings - general - reset - reset all settings - and say yes to the prompts.

There are many people saying the same thing as you. Apple has asked people to reach out to the car dealer to see if there are updates needed on your cars audio system. In the meantime try this and update me, please!
