I have an old...

I have an old Blackberry bold 9900 (I think!). How can I be sure of its model number? Secondly, I've been using it as a non-phone for appointments, contacts, notes, tasks and find it extremely valueable to safely and securely carry private info around with me and I had been backing it up on my pc using Blacberry desktop manager to Outlook. My PC was destroyed lately, and now I have no way to securely back up my blackberry. I don't want to use a cloud-based backup because I'm not one of those people who implicitly trust that Internet based traffic can't be hacked. How can I backup the blackberry to a new pc without having it associated with email? When I tried to use outlook, the first thing it asked me for and would not go any further is what email I want to use. I don't want to use the blackberry for email or outlook. I want this just for my private stuff between the blackberry and PC. Do you have a solution? I'm not in love with outlook, but it seems to match the function of the blackberry. (Sorry for the long question) Can you help me?
