My iPhone SE is disabled after many passcode tries, My phone

Customer Question

My iPhone SE is disabled after many passcode tries
JA: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?
Customer: My phone is an iPhone SE about two years old
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: This has been going on for about 2 hours. I have tried to connect to iTunes but iTunes states that it cannot connect to my phone because the value is missing. I have also tried holding down the home and on/off buttons.
JA: Anything else you want the smartphone expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I can't think of anything else

Hi there and welcome

Are you using iTunes on a windows or Mac computer and which version?

Please let me know

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Never mind, I have decided to buy a new phone.
Expert:  Richard replied 2 months ago.

ok.. but that is not needed, we can definetly get this one fixed. You could at least then sell it?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
I spoke wth Apple techs. To fix it, I would have to get on another computer, not my own, go to iTunes, and erase my phone. My phone had also dropped its wifi connection and I have been thinking about getting a new phone anyway. There is too much hassle with the phone I have now.

ok, though what they told you is not correct, you can do it on any computer
