Hello! Thank you for the information. Try this please press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons simultaneously for at least 20 seconds, until you see the Apple logo. You can let go of both buttons after the Apple logo appears.

Be sure you are giving that enough time holding the buttons down for the full duration. I say that because the only other step is to completely reset the device.

You need to have Itunes downloaded and open on a computer. Do you already have that?
