Apple iphone 6S plus unable to complete icloud backup. All

Customer Question

apple iphone 6S plus
unable to complete icloud backup. All settings are turned on in phone settings and itunes to backup to icloud when plugged in and on wifi, but it will not do it. Even if I try to "backup now" in settings-backup on phone. It says "last backup could not be completed. Last backup: unknown"
I AM able to manually backup to my computer via itunes however.

How long have you been facing this issue? Is the internet working on your phone?

Thank you

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Last backup was in November, and yes, internet is working on phone.

Thank you.

Let's try a reset first. Press and hold the power button and home button together until you see an apple logo. Now try to backup.

If that does not work, go to settings - general - reset - reset network settings. Now reconnect to your wifi and try backup. Let me know

Completed both procedures.
Still having same problem

Are you able to try from a different wifi connection? Also, do you have enough available space in cloud?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Plenty of iCloud space. Wifi is ok. Have 2 other iPhones in the house that back up every night with no problems.

Sorry for the delay. I did not get an email that you had responded.

your iPhone backs up to the computer though, doesn't it?

I would suggest to backup again to the computer and then do a restore of the phone. After the restore, choose the latest backup to go into the phone. Once that is done, try backing up to iCloud.

Let me know if you find any difficulty.
