VerifiedWhen you press start, are you getting voltage to the starter wires? If not, the switch is not working, If it does have voltage to the starter, motor is bad. Maybe loose connections at battery?

When I press the switch the meter shows 12.2v right before the starter motor
Engine cover may be binding the choke linkage.
