Ok it sounds like you know what you are doing. Did you check for 12vdc at the solenoid when it cranks?
That is low. Did you load tested the battery or just check the volts on the battery?
You need to load test it. You are reading volts from the charger that built in. 8v might be low to open the solenoid. But something you can also try it remove the 4 screws on top of the solenoid to remove it from the housing and remove the plunger and spring and put it back together and then try it.
Tap the regulator after the solenoid with a wrench or pliers while cranking Incase it's stuck close.
Another thing you can try remove the air filter and block the intake with a rag and crank it .
Ok if the unit is 2years old should still be under warranty. Have you reached out to the local dealer?
