VerifiedOK umm any chance you might have picture of it you can upload? A Magneto , technically, is a self contained ignition unit and would not need a coil... perhaps you mean the points & condenser set? Points and condenser would hook to negative side of a 12 volt automotive style ignition coil, yes, but a magneto by itself as a separate component would have its own coil built in with it, and should not need any wiring other than to run a shut-off wire to the on-off switch to ground magneto for shut-down.. so I'm trying to understand what exactly is needed..
