My name is ***** ***** I have been a service technician for over 44yrs repairing on all brands of home and commercial appliances.
I will be working with you to find out what the problem is and if it can be repaired.
The flood switch is located on the bottom of the dishwasher . Power off the unit.
If you know it was just an accident that lead the water into the base, you will have pull the dishwasher out and tip it up to allow any water in the base to exit out. Put some towels down and leave it set for a while. There are are a number of places the water to hide. Then set it back up and try it out. If you have a fan to place in front of it to move air around, it may speed up the process.
It should be fine after you dry it out.

Which ever way there is any opening for the water to exit. You may even have to go over center if no water comes out. There is a sensor in the bottom that touches water and it conducts across it.
