Hi, my name is ***** ***** I am here to help you. You've got to start pecking things off the list. You've done a few already, so that's great. Next I would take the plugs out and see how it cranks to make sure it's not engine compression fighting the starting system. Next I would remove the belts and give it a whirl. If it has an electric clutch you could have a bad bearing in the clutch causing the drag. Remove the clutch and give another whirl. Let me know what you find. Thanks!
Sounds good. Just as a heads up, if the engine won't start itself without the clutch and the trans belt off, we'll be headed to diagnosing an internal problem. Possibly a scored cylinder leaking crankcase pressure into the cylinder or something. I really hope it's the clutch. Talk soon!
