Customer Question

I have a tractor mower with B&G engine model #31P777. Can you tell me the right gaps for the valve openings?
JA: What's the make and model of the mower? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: The mower is a Craftsman model ####-##-#### I bought it in 2004.
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: Yes, I am adjusting the valve openings to alleviate a hard to crank problem when starting.
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: I have tried setting the valves at .004 of an inch following recommendation on a self-help video. But can't get it to work right. Another video indicated that may not be the right setting.
