I have a honda pressure washer. worked great yesterday.

hi. i have a honda pressure washer. worked great yesterday . early evening it wont start. let cool off and today still wont start. seems like no fire. has compression. plug not fowled.suggestiions?

Hello, remove plug and ground on engine to check for spark. Check to be sure plug gap is open and if black replace plug. If there is spark remove air filter and squirt carb cleaner directly into carb to see if it fires.

OK, correct plug. There is a chance there could be a valve problem. Is the choke opening and closing properly?

Have you ever checked the valve settings or make sure the timing belt did not break and the valves open and close? I can send you a shop manual for the engine

something else i remember. yesterday when it was running it had a little to it at idle. but wennt away under load. later ran out of gas and wouldnt start afterwards.

Was the gas you added fairly new? Was gas can sitting outside? possible water?
