I have an is 2000z 61". It will not crank over. I have checked the sacetg switches. All work but i have power on all wires on tbe brake switch all tbe time.

Customer: Mower was running and shut off. Would not crank over.
JA: What's the make and model of the mower? And can you guesstimate how old it is?

Follow the red wire from the battery to the starter solenoid. try jumping the solenoid by placing a screw driver on both poles together and see if machine will turn over. Make sure to engage parking brake and have key turned on. If it turns over, the solenoid is bad

It cranks, did not try to fire it i just checked to be sure it cranked. I checked tbe safty switches on both travel levers, seat, and parking brake. Switches test good but i have power on all wires on the brake switch all the time. Switch is good.
