Crankshaft has no thrust, do you have any shims inside for thrust? Need to have less shims!

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
No shims. I bought this engine/tractor not running. The previous owner had no compression. So took it apart, new valves rods and tappets. Now I can't get the case back together. I will check and see if something has moved or fallen into the end plate
Expert:  Curtis B. replied 4 months ago.

See if you have thrust , before case comes together, then check as you tighten.
