The adjustment lever on push behind mower is extremely tight

Customer Question

The adjustment lever on push behind mower is extremely tight to the point I cannot lower or raise the wheels. Is there a way to loosen up the lever or do I need more muscle power?
JA: What's the make and model of the mower? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: toro, smartstow
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: yes
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?

Hello, You need to lube the wheel adjuster and arms to keep them movable. It is probably rusted in place. Squirt some lube (WD-40 or similar) on all of the wheel pivot points

I just purchased the mower yesterday, it is not rusty. I will take your suggestion & lube the components. If I cannot get it to budge, I'll return it to the store. Thanks!
