What is compression? Is the fuel pump sending good flow of fuel to the carburetor? Has fuel filter between tank and fuel pump been replaced? New spark plug? Good bright spark at the spark plug?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
It just does nothing when the gas petal is pushed down. Motor doesn't turn over, or anything.
After awhile it turns over and starts fine.

Do you hear the micro switch at foot pedal click when pedal is pushed? If you hear the micro switch, do you hear the starter solenoid click? Solenoid has to close, to engage the starter generator. Either the foot pedal switch is bad, or the wiring to the solenoid, or the solenoid is bad.

I don't hear anything. I will try a new micro switch then.
Is it located under the foot petal
Expert:  Curtis B. replied 4 months ago.

No, its in the box under the drivers side mat or in the solenoid / battery box , where throttle cable goes to.

ok thank you. The cart is at my lake home so will try next time I get down there.

The micro switch and solenoid are inexpensive items . I would take both with me! Thanks!
