Could not get my 128cd to run this season.
JA: I'll do all I can to help. How long have you been dealing with this?
Customer: couple of days
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: yes
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: was left out in the rain. rusty water drained out of exhaust. only one year old. cleaned out tank, carb, and replaced plug. starts. idles rough. stalls when throttle up. and i checked spark arrestor which was not clogged.
JA: Do you have fuel in the tank? If so, is the shut-off valve open and the fuel clean?

Was the carburetor full of water? Do you get good flow from the needle valve , when yu have the float bowl off? The needle valve , is it an all metal needel?If it is, thee will be a rubber seat inside the upper area for the needle to seat on. This can swell and restrict fuel flow. Replacing the needle valve and seat would be required.
