I am trying to identify the model number of a Craftsman

Customer Question

I am trying to identify the model number of a Craftsman string edger. The only number on the block is###-##-#### It says it is LEHR powered.
JA: I'll do all I can to help. How long have you been dealing with this?
Customer: I was just given the edger. It came from a family whose father the owner died. I am hoping to find an owners manual.
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: The unit is working, No repair needed, but could use an owners manual. I would like to change the cutter head from string to a blade if possible.
JA: Did you double-check the thermostat? And what about the unit's filters?
Customer: Air cooled, only filter is on the air intake for the carburetor
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: Not that I can think of.

Could you possibly take a picture of your edger?

A picture will sometimes help to identify which unit you actually have.

I believe your trimmer is propane powered.
