For a Briggs and Stratton 5500 portable generator, the black

Customer Question

For a Briggs and Stratton 5500 portable generator, the black wire of the on/off switch came off of the engine. the red ground is attached and looks fine. Where does the black wire of the on/off switch attach on the engine?
JA: What's the make and model of the generator? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: Storm Responder 5500 watts /8250 starting watts; purchase in Feb 2010
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: If it's a simple wire re-attachment, yes. Looks like a mouse bit it off.
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: Don't think so. It started fine last spring
