I have a 20K Generac With an Evolution Controller that

I have a 20K Generac With an Evolution Controller that periodically switches to stop from auto and there is no error message.
JA: How old is the appliance? Have you gotten error messages before?
Customer: 1.5 years old. I never get a message when it switches to stop.
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: Maybe
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: Just loaded the new firmware update and it still does the same thing

The Light does turn red, but there is no new message in the error log. Sometimes I can switch to manual and it will run and the light turns green and go back to auto and it stays green, That can last for days, weeks or minutes then it goes red and switches to stop with no error message. Sometimes it wont start in manual or go into auto and immediately goes back to red and stop. I wait a day and it will go back in auto for a while again,

Please review the attached photos.
It is the controller that is switching from the auto mode to stop. The transfer switch is not changing state. The controller is doing this while sitting on standby. It won't stay in auto mode. You can see in the photo that the last alarm recorded was almost one year ago. All the display says is "Switched to Stop"

I just pulled your serial number, and find that your unit is still under warranty until May 6, 2019.

The best thing to do here would be to contact an authorized Generac repair facility, and have this repaired under warranty. If you work on this yourself, you will void your warranty, and will be responsible for the cost of any parts.
