I have a bobcat zero turn mower, Started having trouble

I have a bobcat zero turn mower
JA: What's the make and model of the mower? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: Started having trouble starting about 6 months ago
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: turn key and nothing . eventually it would turn over and start. it progressivly got worse (taking longer to turn).. now it will not do anything
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: cranks fine once starter engages.

Sloe to engage the starter, but once starter engages, it will start the engine? Do you have a voltmeter to test the starter solenoid? Sounds like the key is not getting the voltage to the starter solenoid, or the solenoid is slow to engage. I would replace the starter solenoid/relay, parts where the positive battery cable attaches.
