Can I leave my "trickle charger" plugged in permanently? The battery runs down quite often.
JA: I'll do all I can to help. How long have you been dealing with this?
Customer: Since I bought it 2 yrs ago.
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: Yes
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: I store it in the garage, and have to charge it at least once a month.

Yes, you can as a trickle charger has a regulator built in to monitor to the charge to the battery and prevent overcharging of the battery.
