Why would the boots need protection? They move with the a arms and do not change position.? I have never seen anything that could be added other than skid plates under the unit to keep rooks and debris from flying up into the boot area.

that's right!
i go thru bad terrein, have installed skid plates
had the protection but they do on fit on the arced A-armes
just need new plates to protect the boots, to avoid damage on them

So you need plates to fit the new arms! Sorry. I can't help. Likely you will have to custom make them. But I will opt out and see if someone else has a source for the plates.
