# 24 in the parts list above? You loosen it and then push the plastic retainer on the outer housing, which is catching the shaft and not letting it loose.

Its a plastic knob that adjusts the pressure. No acces to the shaft.

You turn the knob CCW to loosen it, but it has a groove down on the tip end, that looks to be held with plastic clip, you have to pull up on the clip end , so the assembly will slid out.

If knob is slipping, just pry it off, to give access to the shaft with hex.

Hmmm well turning ccw adjusts the pressure then it stops. Turning further just causes the housing to slip. Tried prying off but just jimmying up the knob.

Got plastic housing off, pretty dinged up bu mot have a brass hex. Ccw with a wrench?
