I have a leak and possible bad bearing in the worm gearbox

Customer Question

I have a leak and possible bad bearing in the worm gearbox (7006-2191) of my BX2750D snow blower. I have disassembled the blower and removed the gearbox and drive shaft but I cannot separate the two half's. I would like to obtain the maintenance but can't find it anywhere. Or just info on disassembling the gearbox.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Welcome to just answers. My name is Bill..

Im gonna send you a few pictures.. that are parts break downs..

You have to remove the auger from the housing..

once you get the auger out then you can take apart the gear box..

If you look at picture 1 you have to remove number 15 bolts and 23 to take the auger out of the housing.

once you have it out you can remove the auger number 11-10 with just a shear bolt..

once you get them off.. you can look at picture 2 this is the gear box
